DELHI MASS RAPID TRANSIT SYSTEM

PHASE III (CONTRACT CT-24)

Delhi Mass Rapid Transit System Phase III (Contract CT-24)

Emrail, in a Joint Venture with PCM Cement Concrete (Pvt) Ltd., was awarded the Delhi MRTS Phase III (Contract CT-24) for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of ballastless track in elevated sections of the MRTS project, from Kalindi Kunj to Botanical Gardens in late 2015. This was the first project for Emrail outside of Malaysia, and formed part of the vendor development project by Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

Whilst the initial project as awarded to the JV consisted of trackworks on the viaduct only, the decision was made during the course of the project by DMRC that the JV would instead construct tunnel and underground sections of the alignment. The JV successfully adapted to and complied with the changes required.
